Over 200,000 miles for LS430s these days seems to be a common number. If the owner is number one or two from new.... chances are the next buyer may be getting a bargain as those early owners generally take good care of the car and just need a change or feel it's enough mileage for them... Some of those can be scooped up for a song with a lot of life left. I own my 2001 LS430 for almost 16 years with currently 168,000 miles. Still a fair amount of life left...Crossing my fingers!!!!!

I'll start:

2004
84,200
I've put 3k on her myself
No major problem yet!

I wonder if anyone else on here has more miles on an 04+? I'm planning on driving this one to 200k+
2002,138000 km,no major problems, routine oil changes, timing belt and water pump done(both looked almost brand new) No more than 3000 km per year,no winter driving. I have put roughly 9000 km on it since having it. Parked inside. Zero rust

Just snagged a 2005 after about a year of searching. Love it so far even though it needs some wear items replaced. It's a car you can tell they cared when they designed, manufactured, and assembled it.

130,335 miles this frosty morning. No glamor shots yet

Not "fair" amount of life left, "a lot". That thing will run to 400k+. If you've owned it for that long (similar here) you've taken care of it I assume.

168k is NOTHING for an LS430. It's just getting broken it at that mileage.

I'm at 155k with a 2004. Would drive it to Alaska and back tomorrow.

Default 272,000 Miles

My daughter now owns the 2003 LS430. I purchased it in 2007, I think with about 34,000 miles. It now has 272,000 miles. I have changed the timing belt 3 times (every 90k) and a host of other items over the years. It is still running strong.

That's absolutely brilliant! I hope to pass on mine to one of my sons. My youngest currently drives the 2006 Sienna we purchased in 2007 with 48000 km and which now has 324000 km. What a testament to Toyota and Lexus

Just a little bit shy of 132,000 miles on my 2006 LS430. It doesn't, really, get much of a chance to stretch its legs anymore but I'm thinking about taking it on "summer vacation" this year. Since the COVID slowdown I've only been putting 2000 miles a year or so on it and that's a real shame as it's my favorite driver!!!

[QUOTE=sparky3;2415703]Please state the year, mileage, how many miles you've put on it since you've owned it, and any major problems you've had with the car.

2005
66,600 miles
Premium; no smart key

Normal prescribed maintenance; have used all OEM parts and fluids; changed TB; changed plugs, new rear struts and mounts (were slightly leaking), new rad (was leaking), swapped in a new PS reservoir per TCCN's advice, and new LCABs.

Only changes to stock are (i) added Grom Bluetooth module [super easy; do it!] and (ii) swapped in an all-leather Celsior steering wheel [highly recommended!].
