Good luck on your search. I will be looking across america for mine. I have found 4 or 5 with the leather but all had white exterior in which I dont really get that color combination.
Hey Nate. I didn't know you were looking for an LS. It seems like a lot of us GS guys are looking to move up to the LS. My plan is to buy a silver on black 04 (probably non-ultra) sometime within the next 1-2 years.

Yep, I feel the exact same way. I am 38, married, 2 kids (ages 6 and 4), and I just don't feel the same "need for speed" that I once did. My daily commute is 30 highway miles each way, and with the LS, I'd feel as if I were king of the road. I just don't know if I'm "ready" for the LS. I think I still might be a year or two off. I'd feel kind of funny driving around in one at this point in my life. You know?

And I'm sure the GS is getting smaller. They are known to shrink when you wash them a lot.

Very Very Rare, it was a special order on LS.

I'm sure you have researched the Mercedes Forums (MBworld.org is the best one) so you are familiar with the myriad of problems the MB owners are putting up with to wear a 3-pointed star on the hood. My last Mercedes went 24,000 miles when the transmission failed leaving me stranded. Prior to that, it had spent more time at the dealers than on the road. I got it fixed, sold it, bought a Lexus and never looked back. I've never had a problem with my LS430 ('05) or with any of the 3 BMW's that I have owned in the interim. Hopefully MB quality will improve in time...J.D. Powers still lists them near the bottom in terms of reliability and dependibility. If you're leaning towards MB, just go in with your eyes open, and good luck. I hope you get a better one than the one that I had.

Default Don't give up hope!

Not an 04, but I purchased an 01 ultra lux silver w/ blk interior, maple wood, perfect cond/like new in Petosky Mich for $20,500. Just have to be a little patient and talk to the dealers.
