I have officially given up!!!!
I am tired of coming up with no possible leads for my ls430.I am now venturing over to mercedes and their 04-05 e500 sport.I should be picking one up within the next couple of weeks...

Yep, the exact reason I steered away from MB and BMW and bought my '01 UL.
And not sure what you mean by giving up.. are you looking for a Pink one with baby blue interior or something like that?
I found my 58K mile '01 UL for $26.4K in 2 days of looking.
Try harder, or buy a good pair of shoes.

I am looking for a specific color combo.I want a silver/black interior 04' ls430.Nothing out of this world, but impossible to find within a 300 miles.Oh, must have nav and no accidents and service records.

BUSTN -- 2 questions: (1) how long have you been searching, and (2) why aren't you willing to travel for the right car? I live in Chicago. I bought both of my GS400s from AutoTrader. The first, a 98, I bought from the original owner in Ohio in March of 2004. The second, a 99, I bought from the original owner in New Jersey. With respect to both cars, I searched for several months before pulling the trigger. Als, both times, I flew out, check in hand, and was prepared to fly back home without the car if it was not as described.
You just need to be patient. And, if you're not willing to travel, then you need to be even more patient.
Anyway, all of that being said, it looks like Sparky found one for your right in your own backyard (and from a Lexus dealer to boot). Keep us posted.

I agree with most of the replies here. Why have you given up? And if so, why post your frustrations here? Your time would be better spent posting your search on the MB board. Everyone here will give you their opinion that the LS is a very good car, after all that's why you are here right. Just because you haven't found one you like yet doesn't mean they aren't out there, many members have even located cars for you. I'm not quite sure what you are looking for here. CL is a great place for information & resources and so far these guys have been more than helpful. Good luck with your MB search.

Since 1988, I've owned 4 MBs, W123, W124, W210 and the last one I bought was 2003 W211, sold this in 2005. The last one made me switch to Lexus. The E500 Sport will surely handle much better than the LS430... and the W211's sound system may has more bass than the Mark Levinson.. the E500 will be quicker.. but that's it.. can't think of anything else better than the LS430..
Don't get me wrong.. the W123 and W124 are very reliable.. can't say the same for the later models though.
As Zen Dude mentioned... if reliability is not your concern.. you'll like your new MB.

MB's are show cars with their preferred home being the dealers repair shop.
If money is not an issue get ......stay with LEXUS...lol. Seriously.!!

That exact silver one sparky found, made me give up.I emailed them as soon as I saw it.it had sold already.I've been looking for a while now 1-2 months maybe?I've seen a bunch, but none measuring up to my standards.I currently own a mb w203 which has been flawless.I am upset as well, that the guy I have looking for a car for me at the auctions- cant find one??I mean come on.I want a 04 ls430 in the $30k range,silver/blk with nav.No accidents or paintwork and a non smoker. I am really contemplating going with th emb e500 or e55 if the price is right.I would love a ls430 but if it doesnt show up soon- the e class may take its place.I have a bunch of salesmen from lexus dealerships,trying to find the car for me as well but no luck yet...

Good luck on your search. I will be looking across america for mine. I have found 4 or 5 with the leather but all had white exterior in which I dont really get that color combination.
