is there a way to update the nav system in my 2004 LS430 from 3.xx to 6.1 and still be able to use the lockpick? I know that the update needs to be purchased from the dealer right?

can do the update yourself if you purchase the DVDs,, not a hard task to handle,, is an instruction sheet on this site where someones wife did the DVD install,,

if you order the DVDs from Sewell which supports this web site they have the best price as well as a 10% discount when ya enter our code,,

can't answer about the lockpick and how it works with the 6.1 version,,

if it was not done I would call Lexus-maybe they would install the 2006 or 07 disc instead.

i do not think it was done. i have version 3.xx of the maps on there. Would i still be able to do it even though it was past the date? Can i still do the override of the nav system motion thing in the service menu with the new maps?
