Default Strip For Sunshade

Pete, so there is no plastic strip to keep the fabric in place? i would like to
know how to attach it to the top of the frame in Detail, as i have no idea how
to get the fabric to stay on the top of the frame? where would i look for the WHITE strip you are referring to? when you said yours was in the boot, what is the boot?

Thanks

Chris

Chris,

Sorry.... you call it trunk, we call it boot, you call it hood, we call it bonnet etc etc.... you will need something about 2-3mm and flexible to keep it in place, I suppose you could use some electrical wire, put the blind frame up, pull the blind out of the hole and you will see what I mean... I'd take a picture of mine but its 21.15 here and pitch black... if you want I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it up, let me know

Pete

Chris

I have tried for ages to get a picture to show what I mean but when the screen is up it will only pull away from the rear window by a couple of inches, this is not enough to get a picture that shows anything, the angle is all wrong, I have even tried through the rear window but with reflections and an auto focus camera that wants to focus on the glass, you can't see anything there either. Perhaps vamel could take a picture of the spare he has whilst it is out of the car....

When I had the white plastic rod and looked at the top of the frame and the top of the blind it didn't take too long to work out how to get it back together though, basically the rod goes inside the top of the blind once the blind has gone through the top of the frame, the rod then makes the screen "fatter" at the top so it won't pull through the top of the frame...
