1. What is the part number for the 2004 LS 430? (Latest being 6.1, right?)
2. If you have a Lockpick and you've upgraded, does everything still work?
3. For those with an 04 and that have done the upgrade, is it worth it?
Thanks to all who respond.

2. I don't have a Lockpick, so I can't say.
3. It was for me, but I'm a heavy user of the NAV, and I like having the most current road and POI data available. Only the maps and POI database is updated. There is no update to the interface.

with 6.1, every function in Lockpick works except the Nav on the go.
the bluetooth and the video unlock and "i agree" thing work like a champ.
by the way, to either one of you guys, how do you make an entry in your phone book? is syncing/importing from your bluetooth phone the only way to create a new entry? can you manually enter a new entry in?

I have a Verizon phone, and Verizon blocks the ability to upload phonebook entries via Bluetooth. I manually enter numbers using the keypad on the nav screen. I've only added one-touch numbers, so I can't say about the procedure to enter non-one-touvh numbers, but I would assume it's doable throught the keypad. The one-touch numbers handle my most frequently dialed numbers. If I need to dial another number in my phone's phonebook, I access it with the phone and then close the phone and let the bluetooth connection handle the call from there.

Yes, but the part numbers are different because '01's have a gen2/3 navi, and +'04 have gen 4.
Regarding the Navi updates, it really depends on where you live. If you live in an area like mine, (Tampa, FL) where the growth rate is astronomical... you will notice a lot of difference in between updates. The updates also add older roads... they dont have to be new for the new edition to be incorporated.
