I just recently had some Kuhmo tires installed. The ride turned out being rough and the tires very very loud.

I call the manager up. He says bring car in and I will look at it.

This morning at 8:30 take car in. He is busy with other client. I
go ahead and pick Micheline Aqua Tread style tire.

Tire Rack takes off tire and puts on new one. All I had to pay for
was the upcharge for the new tire. That is fantastic. Usually once
the tire is mounted it is yours, period. Tough.

I went to the McDonalds next door to grab a little breakfast while they
were going to install the new tires.

I look up from stuffing a pancake in my mouth and it is the Manager from
next door. Says can I sit down with you for a moment. I said sure.
He says, I put the Michelines on my wifes car and they were great.
However at 20,000 miles they starting getting real loud. Can I suggest
the Yoko's. And they are a little cheaper.

I was blown away and impressed that he would track me down next door
and bring this to my attention. That is service above and beyond.

I have ordered over a dozen set of tires from Tire Rack over the last three years. Prices were great. However, getting the tires shipped to my office and then finding a place to install was a pain.

Discount Tire will match anyones prices. All three visits to their store they were very pleasant and I am impressed.

Discount tire are great. I just ordered some tires from them for my GS. They matched prices of another online retailer, and i got great tires, at a great price, shipped to my home for less then half of the cost if i had boughten them from sears, or other chain stores (excluding mounting costs).

It was really a no brainer for me in Florida, because i didn't have to pay any tax, or shipping from discount tire. I highly recommend their service, and the tires got to my door in less then 4 business days. If you call them, they will even throw in stem valves for free.

I don't think I have room to convey the quality of service I have received from Discount Tire since I became a customer in 2002. They have always gone above and beyond to take care of us, and have earned a customer for life..

Agree...Discount Tire is great. They will match tire rack prices (taking into account the cost of shipping) and always have treated me nice.

I like Discount Tire a lot, their road hazard warranty thing has saved my but numerous times.

However, I like Tirerack's online interface much better than DT's. Usually what I do is go to Tirerack to search for what I want, and then called Discount Tire and ask them if they have it at a local location.
