I have that wood trim...looks very classy with my black interior.

I'll try to get photos when I get the chance.

Not to thread jack, but speaking of wood... any of you polish the wood to get the swirlies out? I read online that Pledge works great, but I'm too scared to use it in my car...

NO! DO NOT USE PLEDGE!! It leaves a nasty oily residue on the interior pieces.

To clean them you need the following:

-Plastix (meguiers) head light cleaner
-Meguiers quick interior detailer
-Microfiber towels
-Microfiber applicator pad

-First clean the interior pieces with the pastix using the microfiber applicator pad, make sure not to put the headlight cleaner on the leather.

-Make sure to wipe down all the interior pieces with a clean microfiber towel before applying the qucik detailer.

-Apply detailer, be sure not to go too crazy...all you need is a little bit misted on and wipe with a clean microfiber towel.

This will get rid of small surface scratches on your wood trim, as well as keep them nice and shiney.

HOPE THAT HELPS

Default Darkwood Interior

I have this interior on my LS430 Ultra... It sure is unique... until I saw my friends 2007 Hyundai SanteFe. The wood looks just like mine in that SUV.

sorry to say, none of those (gray wood and cherry wood) would be considered burnt wood... the gray wood reminds me of marble...

That helps... that helps me determine that the little swirls will stay for now. haha I only noticed them after a month of ownership, so I'll see if I can "untrain" my eyes.

I'll just use the pledge on my coffee table, and call it a day.

Any questionable chemical is a no-go (I remember Armor All. People swore by that stuff...)

Thanks!
