Smile What size socket to remove oil drain plug?

Hi all...
I just joined ClubLexus today and thought I gst some info from members. Before I crawl under my 2001 LS430 and remove the 10-11 10mm screws that attaches to the under engine noise barrier cover, I was wondering what size in mm is the oil drain plug? just wanted to buy the right size socket as I don't need the whole set. Any info on the oil filter wrench size as well. This will be the first time changing the oil for me. Adding in Mobile 1 Synthetic 10-30w. Filter still up in the air. Don't want to take to Jiffy Lube anymore as I want to do it all myself now. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!

After doing some research...I believe it is a 14mm socket and 33lbs torque to tighten. I hope I helped by providing the question and the answer to you members. Let me know if this is correct or correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!

Good Luck. Make sure you go under the car with a new washer for the drain plug too!

I wouldn't use a torque wrench on the drain plug - too, too easy to strip it out. Just get it 'gutentiet' as they say in Germany.
