love the car soo far, but feel like Subwoofer is working but its not hitting hard, Sometimes i can't even feel any bass coming from the subwoofer, Bass was alot better in IS350 (non marklevinson sub), what would be my alternatives as i would like little more bass out of the system?

this might sound retarded to some, but when i used to work for lexus when the 3rd gen GS came out, they (lexus rep) were saying that the stereo system is much improved in the Newer GS430 (probably the new IS also), saying that their newer GS with base audio is superior to say 2006 LS430 ML... This might be the reason why your Newer IS might sound better than your LS!?

You can get a 'free-air' (no box required) sub which replaces the stock one. I believe the stocker is 8in. I think JL sells a good free-air sub. It won't sound nearly as good if you put a box in the trunk but certainly better than the stock ML sub.

you can replace the sub, and add a box enclosure where they stock sub is. (box would be fixed to the trunk ceiling, and not taking up any extra space) A small box will provide you with 3X the bass you have now.
But you must get a non-free air sub for this to work (majority are not free air sub's anyways).
