Default Some questions about the stock warranty

I'm going to be purchasing an LS in the coming months (I swear I will!)

Can any one tell me the details of the bumper to bumper and drive train warranties?

If the car is a CPO ( cert pre owened ) it will come w/ 3yrs from the day you buy it and the remaining miles up to 100,000-- if your car has 40,000 miles on it, you will be insured for another 60,000

I looked at the Lexus website, and the 07's have a 48month 50k bumper to bumper. 70k 72 month power train.

Was this the same for teh 04's?

Yes the same for 04s.

I just bought an 04 and get the balance of the 4-yr/50k Bumper-to-Bumper. Car had 29k and went into svc in Oct 2003, so I'll have coverage until this October.

When does a car "go into service"? When it is first purchased by the consumer, or dealer?

Date of purchase by first consumer is vehicle "In service date".
