Default Looking at a 03 LS430

Hi all, looking at an 03 LS430 w/25k miles for my wife. Don't really know much about the car, but I've been driving an RX for the past 4 years so I'm well aware of Lexus quality and expect nothing different in the LS series.

I'd imagine that most of you have been very happy owning your LS but are there any particularly troubling issues that have popped up with the 03's?

Nothing widespread, as the '03 LS was the most trouble-free vehicle in the history of JD Power's 3-year ownership survey -- an average of less than one problem per vehicle over the 3 year period.

if you can pony up a couple more G's, get the 2004 vs 2003, even if the 04has more miles. More warranty and more car upgrades... Look at the difference in 04 and 03 side by side... you'll see what i'm talking about..

well just purchased it for $29k.

I would've loved to go with an 04 or 05 but for that price, I can't even get close to those model years around here.

That's a pretty good price, low miles too. Does it have Nav or the Ultra Luxury package?

Welcome to the group!
