I just saw an ad for an 04 that claims to have both Ultra and Sport packages. Is this possible? Wouldn't there be a conflict in suspensions? I have a feeling it might just be sport with one of the lux packages. But, I thought I'd ask the experts.

Maybe the seller is stating that you can put the Ultra in sports mode? With that and some stock 18", it'll be the best of both worlds.

I don't think so . . . here's the text right out of the ad.

2004 Lexus LS430 Full Loaded Ultra and Sports package. This has car has every single option Lexus offered except dynamic cruise control (not very useful anyways). It is has a Flint Mica (gun metal grey) exterior and a black interior. It only has 34K miles. Only 10% of all LS430's had the Sport package which gives it a completely different ride, it is much more responsive and corners tighter as well as the sporty 18'' wheels.

I think it's a Sport package with either modern or custom luxury package - not ULTRA.

True as I thought all Ultra has the radar cruise control.

false advertising again... it's custom luxury package... just because the custom offers burnt wood and suede headliner, they are thinking it is the ULTRA. All Ultra's have Dyn Cruise Control, and it's awesome! Stupid car dealer. Probably not a Lexus Dealer!!! Call them and ask them if the car has a Cool Box, then it's a ULTRA!

Yeah the Ultra's have 17" wheels and the Euro / Sport have the 18" wheels.
