I had a knocking sound in the front of my '02 UL while maneuvering at parking lot speeds, it progressively got more frequent soon after an alignment was done. The dealer said it was a part called an eccentric, used to align the front end, and that it was apparently "stripped" or a bolt in it was stripped. Anyways it had to be cut off and replaced. The service guy said it was due to some jackass not tightening it down enough when a previous alignment was done. Cost me over $400 to get fixed. Anyone else have issues with this part? I'm scared to have anyone else ever do an alignment for fear it will cost me another $400 when they don't do it just right.
