Default Nav Override (HOW-TO VIDEO)

I thought I put a short video for those who are new or don't know how to use the navigation override method. Since I just received my Lockpick and will be installing it soon, I better shoot this video before my install.

I'll create another video on the installation of the lockpick soon, from taking apart the dash, installing the harness, and playing movies on it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysXzM9t7erQ

edit: This method is for my 2004 - As noted below, other years have slight different methods. Sorry didn't mention this before.

if u didnt find out already, it's a little different for the 01-03: hit the menu button then select "system options" instead of volume. then, top left bottom left, top left bottom left, then bottom right. select override

If you find the solution for nav override on European LS430 from 2003 i would be very very greatfull. Apperantly, according to few european lexus boards nav override that exists in US sold vehicles is removed from the Europe modells. I've tryed pretty much every sugestion i've seen on this and other boards and nothing works.

Ofcourse there is a possibility that they removed it completely, but most likely there should be a hidden "service menu" on these units as well, which Lexus technicians use for diagnostics.

On the "Menu" screen there is a "System Options" icon (right side of the screen), touch that and then follow the up-down procedure and so on...

You need to do this when the car is in "PARK" or complete stop. Or I think you need to hit the "VOL" icon and try the up-down procedure.

The car was in the Parking when I took the Picture.

I tried to override from the "VOL" icon but it didn't work
