"Baked" LS430 Ultra !
Been looking for a used LS430 and surfing the usual suspects and ran across this.I would never even consider it of course just interesting to see how that extra thick glass kept the cabin in better shape than you would have thought.Paint seemed to hold up well too.

the scary part is the carfax is clean makes you wonder if this will pop up for sale somewhere as a "1 owner clean carafax low mileage car" they may have to leave out the "non smoker" part thou.

My brother is a state troopr and i had him run theplate aparently what happened is that this car was in the garage when a house caught on fire the garage did not sustain a lot of damage but the heat from the house was trapped in the garage causing the melting you see here

It reminds me of the burnt-up car they were driving in the movie Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
"Well officer, it's hard to say with any degree of accuracy how fast we were going because we have a melted speedometer. However, the radio still works. Funny as that may seem, the radio's the only thing that's really working good."

Whats really bothering me is that;
1)The title is still clean(there must have been some insurance claim)
2)The carfax shows nothing!(http://www.carfax.com/cfm/ccc_Displa...BN36FX50180567)
There are records (Kingsls430 found them) and one would think that would be a salvage titlecertainly a fire on the report.
So much for the "all clear" if car fax is clean!That car will pop up somewhere and noone will ever know

maybe it'll take some time before the database at carfax gets updated...some lag time.
these database things, even like your credit report, takes a few months to be fully up to date.
