I have found a 2004 LS430 that I am considering buying. I wanted to get some opinions on whether it is a good deal or not. The car has 41,000 miles on it and comes with a Lexus Certified warranty for up to 100K. The car is listed at $ 31,750. It is a Sport edition, and comes with Navigation, Mark Levinson Audio, smart key, rear camera, and heated and cooled seats. I am not sure if it is a luxury package or if the options were purchased separately. It has a clean Carfax. Does this sound like a good deal? Are there other things I should be looking for or does this seem like a pretty good deal? Thanks in advance for all your advice.

Its a good deal for what your getting, and low miles!!!!!! with warranty a plus. I paid $30000 out the door for my 2003 ls430 with 71,000 but a year back now. I say go for it!!!!!

Yup, I agree, if it's what you want and it all checks out, then go for it. In all honesty the decision is relative. It's what you're willing to pay. People may feel I overpaid for my car but I got exactly what I wanted. Some will pay $6,000 for wheels and others will pay no more than $1,200 it's really a matter of what will eventually make you happy. But on paper, this looks to be really good and with the warranty and the reliability of a Lexus you can't go wrong.

Only a few minor weird problems with the car - both bumpers have been repainted (poorly) but that's it. Purring like a kitten!

Too good to be true....most dealers would want
$40K+ for that vehicle, are you sure this is a "Lexus" dealer? if this is a certified lexus dealer car you could flip it and make at least $5K tomorrow.

For those who are comparing prices...
I bought my '04 LS430UL about two weeks ago with 31k miles on it. It was from a Lexus dealer and was certified up to 100k. Final price (including everything but tax) was $37,500
I also double checked, it was one of the later 2004's because it still had one year of factory bumber to bumber warranty in addition to the 3 year 100k certified warranty.
