Let me try to understand your issue. Your laser cruise show 75 mph, the megallan and the car speedometer show 71 mph?
I just bought a 04 LS430 over the weekend and the speedometer show a couple of mph slower than the number indicate by the laser cruise. Mine is an ultra lux with 225-55-17.

so it sounds like the laser control is accurate, it is the spedo that is off. This makes sense. The spedio is a mechanical device that is only as accurate as it is made to be. If the needle is placed just a little off then.....
