Im in the market for a new 4 door car, i was considering a 2nd gen. GS400/430 however today i found an '02 LS430 with 74k mi. its white with tan interior,heated seats,HID's,nav etc... i looked at it and it looks IMMACULATE except for one small scratch on the rear bumper that has been touched up with paint. They are asking 25k for it does this sound reasonable??? NADA was around 28k and i cant find another one locally less than 30k

$25K is way too much. Maybe if it was a UL... but not anything less.

I'd say 20K-22K is a more appropriate price for a private party.

seems to be a bit expensive for those miles but it is an 03'. i dont think the blue book on these cars takes as big of a hit for higher mileage than others do.

might look into the 01's & 02's as well. Not many major changes between those years, warranty on all will be gone, and might find a better price/lower miles

I thought he said 2002, well may be you can get it for $23000 which sounds fair to me.

You can get a loan through a bank or credit union to use with a private party purchase.

I'm in SC too. I pass that dealership everyday on the way to work. That car has been there for a while. I'd try to talk him down to at least 23K. He might be willing to take less in order to move it.

Just curious about the wheels. Was that style offered in 02?
