This weekend I saw a 2003 ul pkg with 40,000 miles. Lexus dealer is asking $30k and they seem pretty firm. Do you thing I should pull the triger on it? They will certify it for an extra $1,700. I think that number is a bit high. Will more and more of these off lease cars pop up now or do you think I'm lucky to find a deal like this?

 

i think thats actually not a bad deal... my cousin bought a 03 ul a few months back for about $34k with 34,000 miles on it....if u really like the car and its in immaculate condition i would considering getting it....

However i prefer the 04+ models because of the tails lights, exhuast tips, rear view camera, keyless engine start, and vanity mirrors in the back like an MBZ S class. I bought my 04 ls430 with 35,000 miles for $36k out the door from a private party. The only downside is that i dont have UL.

You might be able to to bargain with the dealer a little bit, but definatley check out the market price of the 03 LS at www.kbb.com. Look up trade in value, retail value, and private party. See whats the lowest price, because thats what lexus probably got it for, if not less. This might give u an idea on how to bargain for your 03 UL!!

Thats a sweet deal if its in excellent condition. Paid $31k non-negitiable for my '02 UL 34k miles from a Benz dealer back in May.
