Default Car riding really rough over old pavement

Hey guys I have replaced my tires with bridgestone serenitys and they are good tires but i still feel the grindy noise when i go over slightly old pavement. If it is brand new roads I do not feel them at all. could this be an alignment issue? I am a civil engineering contractor so I can verify that the rough ride over the slightly old pavement should not happen. It is very uncomfortable and I just spent 800 dollars on tires to try to fix it but this wasn't the case. By the way I did have it aligned but maybe they did a bad job?

Please reply.

Thanks,
Ed

You need to check all your struts and shocks, and if you had air rides check for ride height and leaks.
Grinding noise could be from wheel bearings or brake rotors/pads, but kind of unlikely IMO.
So it's not bad/old tires that you had...
