adding pinstripes?

adding pinstripes?
funny, just read the thread about removing pinstripes....
I was just thinking of adding a pinstripe - my LS is so dark green/black (Midnight Pine), that I thought a pinstripe would look good
I was contemplating pair of gold pinstripes --- car has tan interior, but silver BBS wheels. perhaps silver pinstripes?
obviously I don't see many LS around.
can someone post or email me a photo of where the pinstripe is applied to the car?

Pinstripes don't look good on any car, I think. They are a throwback to really really old cars from decades ago. They rank up there with chintzy chrome hubcaps from Walmart and all those crappy add-on accessories you find in the JC Whitney catalog. Lexuses and many other cars today have such clean lines, expensive and uncluttered looks, pinstripes only foul it up no matter what color the car or the stripes are. They scream "cheap" to me. Then again if you like them it's you're right to have them.

agree that pinstripes are personal taste, like everything else...
though they were more prevalent in past decades.
I think some colors and some cars have body lines that are conducive to pinstripes.
could someone post or email me a photo of their pinstripes?
tia.
