crashed.... any thoughts?
This old man decided to turn left on me, he didn't when he had a plenty of time.... I'm hoping his insurance will total it.

Total it!
I have been in this same situation with a 745Li that I had. 10months old and I had a guy lose it on an entrance ramp and cross 4 lanes into me doing 70mph. Crushed from bumper to glass. Body shop said frame was bent and they were done. His insurance was not enough to cover the car ($50K min) and so my insurance had to step in. My own insurance company fought me to try to fix the car! Allstate is who I had and dropped them once this was done. Only good hands they had were the ones in my pocket for 18 years.
I had to argue a lot and then they finally did it. From what I see your car is a gonner! You would not want it after it was "fixed" - rattle here, pulling one way there etc.
Just my opinion.

Glad your okay man, it could have been much worse. I been in your shoes before, and I would be SOOOOO upset about the car too, but as soon as i remember bad it could gotten, i getting a bit feeling of ease.
I hope they will total it out for you, they should, especially if you have the radar guided cruise control.
Where in Maryland was this btw?

Accident
I too was in an accident last Friday - Guy either had a heart attack or stroke. Hit me pretty good in the back bumper/truck area. Estimate from insurance company was $ 8,500.00. Nothing money can't fix. I am just glad it was the rear of the car and not the front. Hope everything works out for you.

Thanks for the comments/concerns.... I am glad I was in the Lexus, not my commuter car (corolla). Otherwise, I would have been seriously hurt.
I am very satisfied that the Lexus held up well. All the people in other cars were carried to hospital while I just walked way with some bruises and sore knee.
From what I've seen, the front of the car is completely gone, all the lights, leaking all kinds of fluid (blue, pink, white), the front wheels pushed back and the motor, too. I'm not taking this car back for repair.......
