Default Electrical Problem w/04 LS 430

We bought a 04 LS 430 Ultra Pkg w/5000 miles on it through a local dealership one yr. ago this month. The day we picked-the car up @ the dealership to drive it home the brake pad light was on. It was a Sat. and the service dept. was closed so Lexus arranged for the car to be picked-up on the following Mon. to be fixed. The car was picked-up and the problem fixed. So we thought!
We've had the car in the shop for the same problem 4x since we purchased it. Lexus has been great in trying to figure out the problem but even they're stumped. The last time we took it in they kept it for 2 weeks, (gave us a loaner) and replaced several parts trying to solve the issue.. They called said the car was ready, we picked it up, drove it home and several days later the light came on again.
Lexus, is now calling in an engineer to try and solve the problem. They've done everything they know to do.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, could you send any help/info./suggestions our way? We'd really appreciate it.
Thank-you for your time.

Just want to be clear that the problem is the brake light being on?
Or is there a light for the brake pads?

I don't have an LS, just snooping around in here

However for the GS, a brake light being on:

1. Foot brake was gently pushed-so a slight overlook that everyone forgets.
2. Low brake fluid
3.............

Try releasing the foot brake again

Yes, it is a light for the brake pads not the brake light.....
Technically, every test Lexus ran came out clean. They've exhausted a great deal of time and research into fixing this problem. We're all scratching our heads on this one.
It's our 2nd LS 430 and didn't have this problem on the 01.
Help anyone???
Thanks for the reply....

Loose or frayed wiring. Replace all wiring at the wheel.

Could you please elaborate more on why you think it might be loose or frayed wiring @ the wheel?
Thanks....

I had the same issue...intermittent light. That wiring has to move with the wheel and can get damaged by road debris getting kicked up and hitting it. All the electronics will check out ok but if the wiring is showing an "open circuit" your light will come on.

Thanks Nauticalx. I'll show this to the service manager. What year is yours and how long ago did you have the problem fixed? I'm assuming no more problems....

02, I believe it is the same setup however. No more problems. The connector in the wheel well should be looked at thoroughly also.

The connector in the wheel well? Forgive my ingorance here. I assume if I show this to the service manager he'll know what I'm talking about?
Thanks.....
