current size 225/55x17,
wife wants comfort, naturally...

anyone try Falken 912 (512)?

if your wife wants comfort, i would personally choose touring tires by michelin or bridgestone. If you want performance, like me, i would choose something like performance tires by bridgestone or yokohama

I just bought a set of Goodyear Comfor-Tred. I'm putting them on next week so I'll give an update. They have really good reviews though.
