Default 2004 LS headlight question..

It seems that the driver side headlight is a little slow at returning to the front position after exiting a curve. I brought the car to the dealer today, the tech put in on the computer ad said everything was OK--no codes being thrown.

The tech ran a diagnostic program which cycled the headlights seperatly.
I noticed that the driver side headlight travels a few degrees to the left and right more than the passenger side.
can anyone tell me if this is normal? The tech made a comment like "this is a 1500.00 headlight, inferring that they were in no hurry to replace it.
Hopefuly a lexus tech can chime in.
something tells me if i was out of warranty the light would have been out of spec.

I think that is normal because the left headlamp can rotate up to 15 degrees (compared to 5 degrees on the right).

Has that always happened, or is this recent?

thanks robin,
it makes sense that the driver side light would act as the track light, more than the pass side. I just started noticing it last week, seemed a little sluggish. But the tech said that everything was within spec.
