Default 04 LS430 Hesitation

When merging into a busy street from a driveway (5 MPH and nailing it all the way to the floor) or passing-up a car (30 MPH and nailing it). It feels as though the engine died for a split second and picks back-up again (my body gets thrown to the front).

I nearly got hit by a car (I didn't leave enough space when I merged - not knowing the car was going to hesitate).

I took it to a Lexus dealer twice and once to another Lexus dealer (although it is still under warranty both dealers acknowleged the problems but said that they can not fix the problem due to transmission programming in the computer of 2004 and other years do not have this problem). Second dealer suggested to purchase an aftermarket high performance computer board, but will nullify the warranty.

Can someone help me solve this annoying problem before I get broad-sided.

Yeah, go at them with reckless abandon unknown to mankind, and dont allow the dealer to get of that easy. They tend to push issues to the side depending on the price of the fix. If you within the warranty, the nerve of the dealer suggesting an after market computer chip that would rid of the warranty.

This is another example of why I like Lexus the cars not the people at the dealerships(all dealerships, and all makes) selling them. The salesman isnt your friend. Hes a guy who like some shoesalesman profits of your willingness to spend alot of doe. If you buy the like your money if you dont, need I say more. This makes me upset because it could be me its happening to, and with gas prices as high as they are, no extra expense is needed like a transmission fix by the consumer(customer).

When I started using 94 octane gasoline, my hesitation problems disappeared!
