Cool LS430 '04 Radio Removal help for XM sat

I have purchased an aftermarket XM Sat kit with all the directions. It all looks pretty simple once you get the radio in your hands. However, that is the part that scares me the most. Does anyone have any advise on this or a link with pictures that would assist me to that point? I have heard that a hook tool will be required but I don't know where to put it to start.

Guess we need to know if your car has nav or not. You probable may need to purchase a lockpick or another interface to go with your XM set up unless you are tapping into the antenna. There are some thread a while back on installing a lockpick that has some step by step images that will show you how to remove the center dash.
