Of course you can.

Anything from Lightwerkz.net is a safe choice, Philips, Osram, etc.

You can but you will be blinding everyone unless you have projectors in your light housing. Also the higher on the kelvin scale you go with bulbs the less visible light they put out that is why all oem bulbs are 4300k-4500k in that area. The human eye can see the most light at that 4300k.

If you want the best bulb get osram night braker laser bulbs there $160 for two but they are the best bulbs out there, I only use them in my cars.

Wrong, 01-03 are still HID, just a reflector housing, so D2R bulbs is what they'll need.

LEDs are a popular choice, @Diode Dynamics also has a legal Fog Light LED kit that is plug n play.

You are 100% right my 03 I used to have had a halogen bulb in for some reason thats why I said that. Do you know how the bowl housing is shaped so it doesnt scatter light? normal halogen housing doesnt project light properly so you have peaked my curiosity lol

Default Basic question

2005 LS430 Time for me to get something for me ! Want to get new bulbs for my car. The bulbs work but want new brighter bulbs cause I'm not seeing at night comfortably.

What type bulb do I need ? What spec bulb will noticeably 7brighten the roads ..so I get the right ones.

Thanks : - )

Anything from Lightwerkz.net is a good choice. I have a pair of the Osram CBB D2S bulbs in my 2004, and I absolutely love them. Much more white light, and a nice blue edge on the beam pattern.
