Anyone has changed the license plate light bulbs? I'm looking to replace the OEM with LED's I've seen on line and looking at the housing for the lights, I can not see how to remove the lense. I do not want to pry them out and break them (unless thats the way the lenses are removed). Thanks for any/all replies!!!!

 

you have to open the trunk and take off the carpeted panel that is on the trunk, then you can see the back side of the trunk where the socket to the license plate lights are located.

 

I switched to LED's on the GS and it was the same way through the tunk.

 

What kind of LED's are you going to use and how much? Do they look like the LED's on the GS? Thanks!

 

Thanks for the info. The LED's I found as per the picture on the package & what I compared with what I found with a link here on Club Lexus, they look just like them!!!
