It's too easy to pay somebody to do it. Really. The most difficult part is removing the vent.

*Although, you have a newer model, which, I believe, has the air suspension computer located on the driver's side. I haven't had experience with this, but AFAIK, it's still not difficult. In the past, someone said how they had to splice a wire to extend the controller to reach the glove box, but now the controller has a long cord, so no splicing should be required.

Regardless, if you find the computer location, it's just a plug-and-play install from there.

Yep, pretty easy. I installed one on my 1st Gen LS. Just pull the suspension computer out, and disconnect the harness from it. Plug one end of Datasystem harness to the computer and the other end to Lexus harness that was disconnect. Then run the long cord to the cab and connect it to the back of the controller.

No, but it has some pictures and there are some decent instructions on this site from people who have done it already.

Where is the website to purchase the controller for the 04 Ultra?

What are the benefits versus the stock computer?

Thanks

www.L-tunedparts.com and this lowers the stance of the car making it look nicer

I just ran mine to the lower glove box. There's enough cord stowed behind that I can pull the unit way out to play with it from the driver's seat.

It's not the best picture, but it will do:

The benefits - you get full control over the height adjuster instead of the normal/high switch on the dash. The stock ride height looks decent in the back, but the front has about a 4 finger gap in between the wheel and fender. Looks goofy. Here's how low it goes in the front and rear with the controller:

Front:

Rear:

There are 9 possible heights for front and rear, from slammed to off-road ready.

As long as they aren't offset far enough out that they'd rub the fenders. Otherwise, this thing is the cure for what ails you. As long as you have the Ultralux.
