The one thing lexus left out when they made this car was a remote starter. I though i read somthing about i can get a new smartkey that has remote start but can not find the thread. Is this possible or do i need to get an aftermarket remote start installed?

I did a fair amount of research after moving to N. Mn earlier this winter. From what I could determine the Viper will work with SmartAccess Keys but they have to add a module where you give them either the extra key or another key you purchase and they insert the key in the module to duplicate the radio signal for starting.

I didn't follow through as I am thinking of selling my Lexus and buying a truck for up here.

I have never seen anything about a Lexus key with remote start.
