Default New Rims for LS430 - help me decide

Greetings - I have a 2004 LS430 with two sets of rims, the standard 17" factory rims, as well as a 17" set from the 2001 LS430 (for my winters). I like them both, but would like something more refined and "modern" looking, but I am a factory kind of guy. I often see sets of 17" ES and GS rims listed on craigslist locally, that look pretty sweet to me, and I know these fit the LS430. Has anyone slapped ES or GS rims onto their LS? Please report experiences and suggestions/comments.

Thanks!

Default it would be nice to have a photoshop thread

since most ls430s are stock it would be nice to have a Ls430 wheel photoshop thread. Too bad I don't know how to photoshop.

Well, here's my first attempt at photoshopping rims onto my LS... Don't laugh too hard. This is a picture of my 2004 with the 2008 ES rims on it...

Do you have the 'original' picture, before you photoshop it?

There is a photoshop forum for Lexus somewhere in this website. You provide the pic of your car, and the pic of the wheels you want on them, and people will photoshop them for you.

I like doing it too. But I need prefer pictures that haave no tilt though.

ES and GS one look too skinny for LS. I don't know which year of the wheels you were referring.
But 18' 5 spoke LS430 wheels look really good.

The ES...... the front wheel is a little too big though.. that would be 18 inch... the rear though, I believe, looks like a 17 inch..

well if you want your car to look decent? yes it does but your car is a big car if anything I would put some aluminum wheels ether 18" or even better 20" but only if you are 30yrs or under 30yrs old if you are older than that then stick with the 17"

According to this logic...

Older than 30 yrs old.. stick with 17"

So, I'm almost 40, I should be downgrading to 16 inch or 15 inch soon. (I'll miss my wheels so much )

By the time I'm 70, I think I'd be driving my LS around with 12 inch wheels... imagine the thickness of the sidewall on that baby!
