Well, don't know how it's like on LS400, but I had it on my LS430, ride quality is pretty much like stock.

The ride is pretty much like stock but a tad bit stiffer. Get em!

I think his signature is confusing you, as he drives an '04.

JDM - If you notice, most owners who intend to lower their rides spring for the UL model with air suspension [pun not intended] , so coil overs are not as COMMON in the LS community as you may see them in the GS/SC forums.

well...thanks for all the input guys...i got the suspension already, i will update you guys on how it goes!!!..the reason i didnt get the UL car is because of the air suspension, people always complain about how expensive they are to fix and i believe in a simple coilover setup than the complicated air ride!!

I used a lot of different kind of spring/shocks/coilovers.
I had Tein CS on my GS400, it is very much stock feel but feel more control.
Get it, you won't regret!

I have the Tein CS on LS430 and absolutely love them! I've adjusted the height on them 3 times already and adjusting the stiffness is cake!

I have the Tein CS. I don't have the EDFC. It would be a nice addition to stiffen the coils when I have 3+ passengers so I don't rub the dubs and soften it up with less peeps on the fly. But I have it set now to where it'll do both and the ride quality is great.

I was in the exact same boat on my supra with the Tein CS. It was so frustrating and annoying to adjust the height and dampening up to a point where it sits low AND not rub with my 315's in the rear. But once it's set, it's sweet!!!

For an LS, if you are looking to get Tein CS's, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the EDFC with it. Saves so much time and it's convenient

I have the aluminum body version (not the current steel body) and I like them a lot. I see little if any downside vs. the factory setup (MOST modifications involve a tradeoff of some sort), and there are some benefits of course with the ability to adjust the ride height and valving. I've not found a real need to adjust the valving once I found my favorite setting (~5) but I can see how it might be fun to have the EDFC to play around with valving from time to time without having to take the 5 minutes to manually adjust them...

I think you'll be happy with them, with or without the EDFC.
