I hit 100k on my 04 today coming home. The "1" in the 100000 is clearly much brighter than the rest of the numbers; does this even out over time? I assume since it's never been lit for any significant amount of time it's just not "broken in" yet.
Did anyone else notice this?

Only 6000 miles on mine but that bright one sounds like a cool feature to me. Something to be celebrated.

It was deliberately made brighter by Lexus so that it constantly peers into you as you drive and subconsciously reminds you that it's time to trade up and buy the LS460!

I don't notice it being brighter on mine, but I have an 01.

You know I secretly think the same thing! Little does my poor LS430 know I'm not getting rid of her until that first 1 becomes a 2!

I love this car too much, and can't afford the LS460. I think in 2013 I'll pick up a 2009 LS460...that's the plan anyway..
