Default UL Air suspension acting weird?

Hey everyone. i have a 01 ul with about 60 km on it. but what i've noticed recently was that when i ride over bumps and rough roads, i would feel every bump and be a very rough ride.. but once in awhile the car would feel super comfy and not feel a bump at all. It comes and goes, and i can't seem to figure out what it is.. the tires and rims are the stock 17's with dunlops. Havent modified anything.... could it be a sensor? or a leak in one of the arms?
thanks in advance for all the help.

If you're not handy, looks like you'll be paying more than $1000 US per shock plus the labor time to replace it.

Used to be when a shock goes out, replace a pair on the same axle. With the cost of the UL shock, I guess just replace the bad one.

Yes, stock air strut on the LS430 are $1000 each retail.

Is the air strut on the LS460L price differently?

Hybrid-JD,

It sounds like the suspension controller is acting up to me if it is changing from stiff to soft randomly.

well of course, for ballers like you who buys a new car every few months, parts wearing out are not a concern.

It is poor people like me who buy used cars and drive them to the ground, that are very aware of cost of replacement parts

I am kidding, playing around

Yeah, thats why i'm opting for the platinum 7 year/100K coverage. I love the UL, but there are a number of expensive parts that can go wrong.

Yes, it could be the ride sensor. Another member had the issue on his car before, and he ended up replacing the sensor, its not cheap, but it fixed his problem.

Can you please explain the terms of the platinum 7 year/100K coverage?

I know the 100k is total mileage of the vehicle. But is the 7 years start when the car was new, or when you buy the extended coverage?

Thank you.

haha, when I was buying my UL, I was concerned about that too.
But hell, if the shock goes bad, I will convert it to coilovers, or just go aftermarket air!

A set of Ten CST not going to cost me 1500 anyway, just no more fun of using my Datasystem then.

Sounds like the platinum warranty = CPO warranty then.

It aren't bad if you buy used.

Unless if you compare to buying Corolla and Civic used.
