To lower, it maybe better to have coilovers. However, the ride on springs is much more forgiving, unless you want to dump it.
There is also the issue of prices, as there is a huge gap. Really depends on what you want from the drop. If you just want to go really really low, regardless of ride, springs might be a better chance.
But coilovers provide a balanced ride, with adjustability of damping and height.

hey guys, I noticed the tanabe coilovers have a much higher spring in comparison to the Tein CS
tanabe = 12K front and 10K rear
Tein CS = 6K front and 4K rear
the tanabe's are much stiffer. what u guys think ?

allrighty guys, I think I'm going to wait and go for a full tap set up.
after careful evaluation, I just don't feel comfortable running a one way coilover set up at it's lowest drop setting resulting in minimal strut rod travel.
