There are 2 black on black ones around and one that is black with saddle interior - was this one rare? It looks pretty nice...

I'm going to check into shipping and the paperwork crap to see if that will make my decision for me.

Once I get one I look forward to contributing a little to the community and learning a lot. First thing will be to figure out best way to do ipod and best dvd kit for the ls.

Thanks again for all the input.
That car was already "sold" on ebay after it got relisted like 3 times.
I actually put a bid on it but didn't get it. I guess I didn't it that bad.

That seller seemed a little questionable b/c towards the end when the price was still low, a 0 feedback buyer scooped it at the end. I asked the seller what happened to that buyer and he said he "didn't quality for financing". I believe the seller couldn't get want he wanted to sell it for since it was a no reserve so he had a 0 feedback buyer take it from me so he could relist it.........I could be wrong.

That seller never contacted me as a 2nd back up buyer since the first one fell through.
I've seen ebay done that when I get sniped at the end.

Regarding the radar, I believe the 04 and early 05 was placed in the middle of the emblem. Towards the end, they moved it down to the bumper?
Or it had to do something with the pcs

You know I noticed that and thought "damn - it sold", but lo and behold it still shows up on his website. Guess he didn't get his price. Not a great practice, though, when he could just set a minimum and not sell if it doesn't meet. It does seem a little shady to show it "sold" and then still have it up on your own site - especially more than once.

Think I like that interior, however.

He might have not taken it off his website.
Ebay is at least more current.

Seems like he hasn't relist it so it's sold....unless this new buyer has trouble with financing again

NO, other than to rule out the very high mileage 05 UL that would have been so simple to buy.... Just getting all the numbers and details for how to import and still waiting to pull the trigger on the right car. I might use a service, but don;t have any good references for them. Unfortunately, one of the cars I had my eye on has sold in the meantime....

That said, I think all the talk about gas prices will help those of us looking to buy a big luxury V8, don't you think?

you would think but they do still sell. U do however have a slight advantage.

but all in all, the ls430 v8 is one of the most efficient v8, I get 20 percent more mpg compared to my 1997 infiniti q45.

personally I'd try to find something that had an average of 15,000 miles a year respectively. Whether it be a 2001 or a 2006.

u can get a 01-03 with 80,000 miles for about 19,000 to 24,000, keep that in mind.

As I believe I suggested,

DAS or Dependable auto shippers ships internationally. They seem to be doing a good job w/ mine it will be here Thursday night.

If you go to e-bay, click on how much to ship this vehicle, it will give you estimates from 4 different companies. I decided to go enclosed for a couple hundred more.

Mine shipped over 2,300 miles and takes 15 days, from date of pick up. as well I can see where my car is at all times. When its not at the transfer lot, the trucks have real time GPS and I followed it up the coast.

They would now about the border process, I'd imagine.
