Default Air Suspension With Springs On The UCF30.....

I've been on the forums for awhile and i get to understand that there is a data system controller for 430's with air suspension... after viewing the thread "lowered the UCF30", i see that there is a sensor that tricks the car to make it believe that the tire is higher then what its supposed to be causing the car to lower... my car has Tanabe NF210's on it and come to think of it my car has the same sensor in my wheel well... i noticed that there is only one for the front and one for the back... does anyone think if i adjust that sensor to fool the car that maybe my car could come down?? Keep in mind my car does not have air suspension....

Now how would the car lower itself without air suspension?

To answer your question, NO.

I also noticed other Lexus without air suspension also has the same height sensor, I also wonder the purpose of that sensor. I am sure it is collecting datas for other feature of the car.

headlights leveling, stability control, PCS.......etc, the height data can be for a lot of different functions of the car!

I know the SC430 has the same height sensors, and none of those cars has air suspension.

nah its okay BNR34 no harm, no foul

well if this guy wants air and coilovers then, suggestion is tanabe air cobra, bold world coils, skipper design...these are coilovers, that have a airbag on top, you set the ride height at what you want, and if you come across steep driveways or speedbumps, you can raise just the bag to clear this obstacle..and when the bag is deflated...the low setting is where you set the coilovers
