well i just bought an 01 and want the navi that comes in the 03+ is there a way to do that

Unfortunately, not in a easy way. The 04-06 Navigation head units have a different multiplex signal parameter and partially changed wire pin positions than the 01-03. Therefore, someone very creative must refer to a factory wire diagram to re-pin the sockets, then figure out a way to re-program the old equipment to communicate properly with the new one.
