Are there two different finishes for OEM LS430 18" wheels?
I seem to notice there are two different finishes on OEM 18" wheels (not the chromed version, but the painted kind). One looks more bright silver and the other more gunmetal.
Anyone else see this difference or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me based on the color of the car?
I can't seem to find two product numbers for the wheels. I do believe a buddy of mine that works at a dealership mentioned there were two colors at some point in the past, but can't find anything about them.

I probably shouldn't disagreed with someone who had 19 Lexues, since he is right most of the time.
But as far as I can tell, that OEM 18s only comes in 1 silver, and that silver color does look different with different lightings and different car color. And there is only one part # for that silver wheel. Of course there is the chrome option that everyone knows.

From the months of scouring on ebay and autotrader, I haven't seen any gunmetal/charcoal color wheels.
Going to start paying attention on the road now

I am sure all the aftermarket power coating make it confusing, like this one is lighter and brighter then the OEM silver.
I think the most confusing thing is, the OEM silver changes color per color of the car and brightness of the day/picture. The OEM silver has a dark tint to it, it looks darker/almost charcoal on a dark car on a dark day, but it looks very silver on a light color car on a bright day.

I pay very close attention to the color of this OEM 18" wheels because I wasn't sure if I want to keep my chrome 18s, I was deciding if I wanted to swap out my chrome for the silver. I looked at the silver wheel every chance I get to see if it is really what I want over my chrome, in hundreds of pics online, every single car I see on the road. So I am pretty familiar with the color of it.
