I like them! Will you sell them once you have your muffler installed?

Wide Open Throttle.

I like the MagnaFlow line of product. Decent price, looks great, performs well. I like oval tip on the LS. I believe MagnaFlow also have a double wall oval available too. How about a sound clip?

Actually the mufflers I'm having installed don't come with tips like the Tanabe or Blitz products do, so I will be keeping them and having them installed at the end of the muffler once they get installed. You can buy them online pretty reasonable though. I ordered them from here.... http://www.************.com/acp/deta...365&xlog=ddx-c (If you order more than $50 they will ship them free and they came within a week.)

Wide Open Throttle!!! Yea, for sure. I have been putting my foot in it alot! It's so addicting once you hear the roar of the intake as it goes through the 6 gears. It's like there is no end to the raw power of the 4.3L engine. About the tips, I do like the oval shape but I haven't seen a Magnaflow tip like that yet. I agree with you about Magnaflow... it seems to be the best value so far. As soon as I have them installed I will get a sound clip up. Thanks...

Of course if someone can show me some other proof otherwise, I'm open to suggestions. As of now, I'm going with Magnaflow and I'm having the complete system from the exhaust manifold back with high flow converters etc. I will take pics as it's done and completed. About the fuel prices... there are entire threads dedicated to that subject. By the way, I'm sure it sounds mean but I'm not sure what "WOT" means.

What headers will you be going with? I'll be looking soon, too. Intake, headers on back, and a set of cams will wake this thing up.

I like those tips posted above.

Actually I'm leaving the factory exhaust manifolds in place. I'm having the rest of the exhaust replaced including high flow converters, magnaflow mufflers, and then re-installing the tips I have now. The mufflers are about 3 weeks away. They will be installed shortly thereafter. Pics will be posted. Currently I don't have any plans to modify the internal parts of the engine. But you never know.......

Nothing yet, I ended up getting hospitalized and just recently got released. Right now I have the wheels getting redone and the car is sitting in the garage. The wheels will be done in a couple of weeks and then the mufflers will get installed. I will be posting a sound clip and additional photos. Keep watching. Thanks!

There are marginal gains in replacing the exhaust system BUT big gains in doing headers. 20hp/30tq excellent response. Almost no increase in noise.

Pearlpower did a similar combo on his SC430 (same engine as LS430)

Best: (261hp, 278TQ) Rear Wheel=(326 hp,348TQ) Crank

The torque can be felt everywhere and the power band is very nice and progressive..

Worth it =YES!!!!!!!

Those are some awesome stats... quite impresive. I'm still in the process of upgrading and modding the LS. I've done lots of mods already, I'm running out of money!
