I know what you mean; here I am. So far M35 is wondeful in all ways except 2 - fuel economy not great and surprised that trunk doesn't self-close. Drives great, really comfortable and the bells and whistles are quite something. NAV system really good (for once). Maybe I'll be in the next generation LS.

Actually, the first of the high end Japanese brands (or even others) who do a top end luxury car with all the bells and whistles, and great driveabilty with a focus on fuel economy (maybe hybrid, but not for extra power but for fuel economy) will likely get my business. LS460 hybrid interesting, but really the hybrid drive delivers extra juice without penalty rather than great economy.
