THANK YOU!! I get so amazed to see stupid people here complain about paying $4 for a gallon of gas that will allow you to travel 20 miles as they're whining to the cashier, they also buy a bottle of WATER for $1.29 for a pint! Do the math.....water is over $10 a gallon at that price.

As far as the topic here...gas mileage is all that matters really, fuel prices vary from one area to another, and how far down you drive the tank will affect how much fill space is available. We get 20.8 MPG long term average, regular driving, not trying to set any records. Presume a 20 gallon fillup and multiply times your gas prices and then you'll know how much change leaves your wallet. Or do like the boys around here that have Rent-A-Wheel payments to make on their Cadillacs....put in $5 at a time...repeat every 30 minutes as needed!

$82 a tank

(Sorry guys...forgot price/gallon & miles/tank)

I average 17mph...because I don't race to the Red Light

Highest 24mpg ~70mph

This was when I was driving from Tahoe back to San Francisco.

U are welcome. Did I mention that a $ 63.000 LS460 retails over here for ...drum role....$ 105.000 (70.000 euro's) including 19% VAT/Salestax and car registration tax (42%!).
I think us Dutch invented taxes You Americans should count your blessings On the other hand ... we don't have to put up with George W

Ah, enough whining. In 48 hours i'm gonna collect my '01 gas guzzler at the Lexus Dealer and spend a fortune on fuel while smiling
