now with that out of the way,
I think your car is beautiful, except for the silly R logo on the back and the fuchsia calipers.

I want to have them painted black in the center and leave the lip chrome. I originally planned to go this past Saturday but Father's Day weekend and my son moving to Australia kind of changed my plans. I will get them Friday when I'm in Houston. Here's a pic to give you an idea....

Let me know what you think.

Yea, that's exactly what I was thinking. "More Emblems, Decals, and Stickers" I just can't seem to find the ones that fit the LS just right.

I did look at them about a month ago, they were nice but I'm swapping out my Enkei's for the ones above because I want a FAT lip and these 18" wheels are too small in my opinion.

I used Dupli-Color High Heat Engine Enamel w/Ceramic (Red #DE1653)

Yea, I get that same comment from lots of folks (about the "Fuschia/Pink Color) for some reason my camera doesn't pick up the red. The calipers and the engine cover are both red and not Fuschia or Pink... about the silly R logo - what can I say, I like it. I haven't seen any one else do it. (May never see it for that matter.) And it serves two purposes. I wanted to make my LS stand apart from the rest (mission accomplished) and every other car I have ever owned I have made into an "R" because I like racing/speed/power and my last name is Rendon. But I do appreciate your opinion.

You have a beautiful car. But, no offense, The LS430 is a Luxury car, not for racing. I know its fast but still, its Luxury. Anyway, enjoy your LS

No offense taken and I completely respect your opinion. I do realize that the LS is a Luxury Sedan and that no one in their right mind would consider racing their LS. Of course, I never claimed to be in my right mind and that's precisely why I have modified my car to the point that I have. The even crazier thing is.... I'm not done yet. And yea, you're definitely right... the car is ridiculously fast! (Especially for as big as it is.) Prior to buying the LS, as I was researching my next car a few things I noticed about the LS were the oversized brakes with air ducted from the front grill to keep them cool (race inspired), HO V8 w/ VVTi technology (race inspired), 6 speed transmission with ECT Power Option (race inspired) and Sport Suspension, (again race inspired). I just wanted to emphasize all these magnificent qualities in the LS that many others may overlook or simply take for granted. Again thanks for the comment, I am truly enjoying the hell out of my LS - especially when I drive around my quiet town and I see people staring or come up to me and ask.."What kind of car is that?" It's priceless!

Thanks, I originally did this on my STS (Cadillac) and my son suggested I do it to the LS too. It turned out great and I think it looks mean! Appreciate the comment!

Very nice work on the grill
I think because of your chrome wheels, it seems to clash.
When your new black wheels come in, then it'll flow better with your theme

Well, this is called "adding your personal touch"

Those pictures definitely make your calipers and engine cover pink

By the way, where did you get that R?

The wheels I bought are chrome (see above) but they are going to get painted black in the center and the lip will stay chrome. I don't really like all that chrome on the LS myself. I'm not sure how yet, but I will change that too. Yea, even on my computer screen the calipers and engine cover look like a pinkish color, but trust me they're not pink. It really looks better in person because of the red color matching each other. About the "R" it comes off a Toyota Matrix - it's the R off of the XR. I wanted to keep it all Toyota and not some cheesy aftermarket R like from Pilot or APC. (Although some folks think it's cheesy anyway!) Still got those Zaubers???

That never crossed my mind! Although I've seen it on lot's of other non-honda type cars! APC!? No pep boys in Victoria, only VATO Zone! (and a few others) I'm still double guessing my decision about the wheels! We'll soon see.
