I have a 2001 LS430 and did not realize this till today. When i say restaurants or any commands it says system does not recognize. I am not sure what the problem is? it worked before about a month ago when i used the commands

Did you make sure to eliminate any back round noise? IE the a/c on full blast. That can definitely affect the effectiveness of the system.
