I let the wifey drive the LS....She says she didnt do anything....

but now my doors wond automatically open when I get close to the car and also the ingnition wont turn unless I put the key in......

what gives?

battery on fob is good.....but even so, why would it even be that?

 

oh wow...that sucks GATO, I don't know what thats about.....

 

it happened to me a while back. there is a button and **** right above where your right knee would be. she might have accidentally hit the switch. its basically the "activate/deactivate" button for the smart key. the **** is the adjust the volume.

Did you perhaps accidently switch your key with the valet key? My valet acts exactly like you describe.

 

yup....check the button under neath by your right leg....there will be three buttons...one of them is for the smart key on/off button....maybe your wife hit it by mistake!!
