Most of you know me

17 years old USED to drive the LS430

so i waznt having it and i gave him the keys
next week im returning it to stock and he can have his precious car because i dont want it no more...

any way i figured im going to buy my own LS430 with money my mom left me on the will seeing how i have 20 thousand in savings in the bank and another 500,000 of the house in israel

then this one came across

Anyone who'd put rims with such whacked out offsets on the car probably isn't astute enough to take care of it properly, I'd pass on that one!

I agree with above Shlomboy. Being a young person yourself, this may annoy your, but you don't want the pre-owned car from the boy-racer. You want the car owned by the senior citizen. They are much more likely to do required maintenance and have it done by proper mechanics. Also, they are much less likely to have driven the car at the extremes. If you get friendly with your local Lexus dealer, they can look up and print out the maintenance performed at dealers. That way, you can at least make an educated guess as to how well maintained the car was. Good luck.

Go with an ultra, not much more and tons of features. Don't get one that's tricked out like that, buy it from an old geezer.

As a rule, I never buy cars that has already been lowered or "fixed" up unless I know the owner. Too many short cuts couldn't been taken. Like the other two posters said, if its a boy racer, they most likely did not maintain the car to spec to save some $$$

Be patient in finding the right car. Anxiousness will get you the wrong result and buyers remorse later.

I'd suggest you DO NOT get another ls430.

from the type of mods u wanna do, I'd suggest a 350z, g35 coupe, etc. You sound like what you really want is a sports car.

$14900 would be overpriced if it was an Ultra with that kind of mileage, let alone rims with strange offsets. These cheap heavy after market rims KILL your suspension and wear it down. It would cost thousands of dollars to undue the damage.

I would suggest holding out and finding an 02 with half the mileage that can be had for the same, if not less then the asking price for the one you asked about.

Reminds me of myself when I was young and stupid! Reality bites, move out and then you can write the rules of your life. There's plenty of time to get the dream car in later years.......
