The ride quality is not as bad as I thought it would be. I went from stock 16's to 19's and you can feel and hear the smaller bumps on the road more due to thinner side walls. The 40 series is the highest side wall if you want to keep it within OEM tire specs according to the tire calculater. http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCal...mp;vehicle=yes The 45 series in front is also with in specs. I could have gone with the 235/40/19 but was a little worried after I get the coilovers if it would clear fender. Hopefully the 225/45/19 will do the trick after lowered. It's the same wheel/tire set up as the Infinity G37 Sports Coupe.

I just recently installed these Wald Duchatelet EX rims with Bridgestones RE050A on them. 225/45/19 in fronts and 245/40/19 in rears (Fat Setup).
19x8.5 +30 offset in front and 19x9.5 +35 offset in rears. No rubbing issues and it fits flush. Hope it will clear also after installing the Tanabe Sustec 5 coilovers (on back order). I also installed the chrome tips which I had for over a year and purchased from Amazon.com for about $11 each. The install was kind of easy after a few bending here and there of the inside bracket and perfect once all is adjusted.

I am trying to find the balance between looks and comfort and I think you have nailed that with your tyre size but it seems that not much other people have this tyre size. Even on other cars I cant find an 45 high tyre picture with some nice rims.
