I have an 04 LS430. 56k miles. Best car i have ever had, hands down.
I was going to trade it in on a new LS460 but i feel that I would have to out of my mind to let this car out of my sight.
Recently my parking assist warning keeps coming on for no reason.
The front center sensor shows somthing within 2 feet when their is nothing there. It goes right away BUT it is a lttle bit of a annoying issue for this other wise perfect car. Has any one else expieranced this problem???? do you think it is a bad sensor or maybe a software issue??? Thanks for any input anyone may have on this. Mike C

Mike,
I'm not an expert and have never had this problem. That being said I would disconnect the negative terminal on my battery and see if something resets. If that doesn't work I guess you either turn the parking assist off or take it to the dealer.

The sensors will go bad and they are around $200 a piece to replace. My driver's side front sensor is doing the same thing. I just leave them off unless I need it to park.

I actually have the same issue on one of the front corner. It is kind of annoying but if you look closely at the one that is acting up....it could be due to a rock putting a little dent in it...and that is what causes it to sense something is there or defected it.....I was told the same, about $200 a piece to replace...not worth it to me. So I just turn it on when I need it.....
